Privacy Policy

1. What we store

• Account data: your email address, an optional display name, and the date you joined.
• Plan and billing state: your plan, subscription status and renewal date, plus a Stripe customer identifier. Card details are held by Stripe, never by us.
• Usage counters: a per-day count of enhancements so we can enforce plan quotas. Counters contain no prompt text.
• Your prompt library: the prompts and results you generate, so you can find them in My Prompts. Guest history is keyed to an opaque per-browser token and is kept until you clear it.

2. What we never store

• Raw IP addresses. Abuse protection uses a salted, coarse hash only.
• Card numbers or payment credentials.
• Prompt text inside analytics or usage events.

3. AI processing

To produce your three versions, your prompt text is sent to our AI provider (currently Google Gemini) over an encrypted connection. We send only the text needed to generate the result, with no account identifiers.

4. Cookies

Necessary cookies are always on: a signed session cookie for abuse protection, an opaque cookie that links guest history to your browser, and your authentication session when you are signed in. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and opt-in: only after you accept marketing cookies do we load advertising measurement from Google Ads and OpenAI Ads, and they receive only the fact that a step happened (signup, an enhancement, a paid subscription with amount and currency) — never your email, account id, prompt text or generated content. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Full details are in the Cookie Policy at /cookies.

5. Processors we rely on

• Supabase: database, authentication and storage.
• Google (Gemini API): prompt enhancement and voice transcription.
• Stripe: payments, invoices and tax handling.
• Cloudflare: hosting and content delivery.

6. Your choices

You can edit your display name, review your usage, export your prompt library and permanently delete your account from your account page at /account. Deletion removes your profile, plan record, usage counters and saved prompts. You can also email hey@promptup.me with any access, correction or deletion request.

7. Retention

Your prompt library is saved to your account and stays available while the account exists, on both the Free and Pro plans, and is not deleted when a Pro subscription ends. It is removed when you delete individual prompts, clear your library or delete your account. Guest history is kept until the browser token is cleared. Usage counters are removed after 60 days. Billing records are retained as long as tax law requires.
